One of our clients in Rosemead, CA is looking for a AMI-Business Systems Analyst with the following skills and experience:

Position: Senior Business Systems Analyst - Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)

Seeking a seasoned Senior Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in utilities, particularly in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on involvement in at least 1-2 successful AMI projects.

Key Technical Skills:

• Extensive experience in utilities sector
• Proficiency in AMI implementation and management
• Proven track record in requirements gathering and documentation.
• Deep understanding of utility industry dynamics

Additional Expertise (Plusses):

• Familiarity with Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS)
• Experience with Customer Information Systems Projects

Project Overview:

In this role, you will be a pivotal part of our team, collaborating closely with our client to facilitate the implementation of their new AMI system. Your responsibilities will include gathering IT requirements through active participation in onsite meetings, ensuring smooth transition and integration of the new system. You'll also have the opportunity to showcase your expertise by providing strategic insights and solutions throughout the implementation process.

Business Challenge:

Our primary objective is to elevate capabilities by transitioning from the existing AMI 1.0 system to the enhanced AMI 2.0 platform. This transition will enable our client to offer real-time data access to end users, thereby improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Impact on End Users:

The upgrade to AMI 2.0 will empower to deliver real-time data, providing end users with greater visibility and control over their utility consumption. This translates into improved decision-making, enhanced energy management, and ultimately, a more seamless experience for customers.
