Wire Transfer Analyst


We are searching for an experienced Wire Transfer Analyst.
South Bend, Indiana

Position Summary:

Responsible for performing operational and analytical tasks to meet active objectives and mitigate risk to the Credit Union. Resolving operational issues and questions, as well as expressing any necessary changes to internal and external stakeholders. Assist with the implementation of projects, new process and procedures that will maximize quality and efficiency, while working in established guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Describe main duties and Responsible for assisting with Wire Transfer process and procedures.

• Responsible for working with Legal Counsel, Training, and the compliance staff to ensure procedures and policies meet compliance and regulatory legislations.

• Responsible for timely completion daily departmental and project tasks ensuring all timelines are met.

• Acts as a subject matter expert and resource to team members in and out of the in the Wire Transfer department.

• Responsible for working on projects that have operational impact on the organization.

• Responsible for analytical evaluation of information, spreadsheets, and processes, making improvements as needed to create efficiencies and protect the credit union from risk.

• Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the Credit Union.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Decision making and problem-solving abilities.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills

• Extensive knowledge of Wire Transfers

• Ability to communicate process and procedures to a diverse group of team members

• Ability to evaluate processes and determine the need for updates, improvements, or compliance issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma

• 2 years wire-related or electronic bank operations experience.
