Winter Part-Time CAD Designer/Estimator Intern

Primary Function:

Assistant Tapered Insulation Designer/Estimator duties will include assisting the Tapered Insulation Designers/Estimators with the setup, scheduling and document preparation for the generation of tapered designs, piece counts, & price quotes for Tapered Polyisocyanurate Insulation projects. Daily communication and correspondence will be with the Tapered Design Team, Carlisle SynTec, Versico, Hunter Panels sales representatives, roofing distributors, roofing contractors and Hunter Panels OEM customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Interpret site plans and complete takeoffs on projects with Tapered Roof Insulation in the specification.
* Work daily with Architects, General Contractors, Roofing Contractors and Sales Representatives to gather the required information for estimation.
* Assist the Tapered Designers/Estimators with scheduling tasks, drawing creation and preparing estimates.

Education & Experience Requirements

* Students pursuing a Technical Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Construction Design, Construction Technology, Mechanical Drafting or similar
* Minimum 3.0 GPA
