YOUR ROLE

Are you known for your leadership skills? Are you passionate about transactional compliance? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to supervise daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transactions and compliance with company policies and procedures, Sarbanes Oxley guidelines and other regulatory requirements.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Provide senior leadership and direction for direct reports assigned to logistics operations.
  • Make "People Development" a priority in daily responsibilities. Execute and drive C-People Performance Management Processes. Identify key players for future bench needs. Ensure specific development plans are in place with consistent follow up.
  • Review Continuous Improvement Plans monthly with direct reports and customers to maintain continuous improvement that meets or exceeds customer contractual (SOW) requirements.
  • Drive the company's Vision and Mission Statement of Unity, Excellence, and Growth.
  • Responsible for the P&L of the logistics operations - Revenue and Gross Margin/EBITDA.
  • Responsible for achieving LEAN, Security, Success Factors, Kaizen, Safety and Quality goals.
  • Be the leader and teacher of LEAN throughout the logistics operations assigned to the sub-region.
  • Utilize ZDS strategy and implementation methodology.
  • Participate in the Solution Development Process (SDP) for new business.
  • Review with direct reports Continuous Improvement plans designed specifically to drive out waste, service failures, accidents, injuries and customer service issues.
  • Provide the sub-region's team with daily guidance, leadership, and overall support on any issues relating to operations, communication, revenue enhancement, human resources, procedures standardization, systems applications and process execution.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of the appropriate resources - staffing, training, equipment and systems required to support the regions business objectives.
  • Participate in developing the growth strategy of logistics services with the sub-region customer base.
  • Be a leader in driving CEVA's core values of Customer first, Performance driven organization, Valuing Diversity, Supply Chain Mastery and Valuing people.
  • Participate in all customer QBR meetings.
  • Goals - achieve retention and renewal targets, revenue and gross margin/EBITDA dollar targets, LEAN and cost saving targets and achieve quality, Kaizen, training, success factors, and security and safety targets. Achieve ZDS objectives on time and on budget.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum 12 to 15 years related experience in a senior management role.
  • Minimum 15 years industry experience.
  • Minimum 15 years managerial experience.
  • Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field.
  • Graduate degree or an equivalent combination of work experience and undergraduate degree.

Skills/ Characteristics:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of all transportation, logistics products and services, systems and operations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, managing and developing staff and high performance teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills both in influencing a diverse and complex organization, and in driving operational and systems improvements.
  • Prior management experience and knowledge of business planning methodologies, competitive analysis, and strategy development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications and ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and effectively presenting information and responding to questions from management, employees and vendors.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing logistics sales and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to manage the financial aspects of the department including purchasing, budget preparation and review, financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, presentation and negotiating skills.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies with a focus on managing solution driven strategy plans to achieve goals.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
