VP of Marketing will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of the consumer marketing department, and continuously advancing the product, creative and email marketing teams through innovative, strategic marketing and communications programs that generate awareness, achieve marketing and business targets, increase market share and drive deeper consumer engagement. VP will be responsible for leading the various functions within marketing including but not limited to customer experience, creative services, content development, nurture email campaigns, and more. This position will be hands-on with performance marketing and building lead acquisition strategies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Day to day oversight of up to 3 marketing professionals

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Drive the product marketing and communications strategies for HPOne's growth marketing efforts to grow revenue, while lowering acquisition costs through increased customer engagement with our product.
  • Executing on performance marketing and lead generation strategies in collaboration with Paid Media team
  • Manage and grow a team of product, creative and email marketers to execute on the customer marketing lifecycle strategy.
    • Oversee Creative team to define and organize creative testing across channels, and build brand management,
    • Guide Product marketing roadmap to make sure they are sized with clear ROI outlined for any tech investment, including A/B testing priorities.
    • Manage email/SMS marketing teams integration into customer lifecycle, reviewing and advocating for new functionality/MarTech to improve engagement.
    • Ensure team is focused on future testing/optimization, testing variables including offer, copy/messaging, targeting and segmentation, creative, and platforms
  • Be creative and nimble; use latest technologies/platforms to reach our customers where they are to quickly shift plans in real time.
  • Measure and report monthly on the effectiveness of all marketing communications campaigns and product against key business KPIs; implement improvements, as necessary.
  • Work closely with both Sales to create continuity and increase conversion in the sales center through UX, content and email marketing campaigns.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Data Analysis, Communication or relevant field of study
  • 10 + years of experience in a direct response marketing role, either in an agency or for a direct-to-consumer business with 5 years of direct team leadership
  • Background in both lead generation and affiliate marketing
  • Experience with entire Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Strong reporting skills - comfort building and analyzing reports using Excel and Google Sheets

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Master's degree
  • Strong strategic vision and creative skills balanced by a highly analytical, hands on and detail-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable interpreting data, deriving actionable insights and using them to inform strategic direction while also able to deliver clear constructive feedback.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as productively partnering with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, including quickly and accurately assessing opportunities to determine best approach.
  • Ability to set up efficient and effective processes, and manage and meet tight deadlines.
  • A sense of enthusiasm, passion and commitment to continually bring a fresh perspective to the team, our business, and our customers.
  • Strong executive-level communications skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
