Location: 3001 Y Street in Lincoln, Nebraska

Salary: Pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints, if approved.

This is a temporary assignment expected to last 11 months from start date.
Examples of Work
Assist skilled maintenance technicians in performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and construction activities.

Performs unskilled or semi-skilled building maintenance involving painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical and heating/ventilation work; completes minor repairs and adjustments on a variety of building structures, equipment, and machinery.

Informs immediate supervisor of equipment, fixtures or areas requiring further repair or replacement.
Qualifications / Requirements
No specific education or experience is required for this class. Prefer the training or experience in general maintenance and trades. Must be at least 18 years of age and have driver's license.

PREFERRED: Some overnight travel is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
General knowledge of building construction and maintenance; ability to operate power tools related to the construction field; ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
