RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Baltimore, MD that is seeking a Technical Support III candidate for a 9-month contract. Candidates for this role must be local to Baltimore, MD and will involve some travel to client's office locations and work directly with end users and business clients (Atlantic region to Chicago only). Client will reimburse travel to office locations.Job Description:- Technical Support III will review, analyze, and evaluate information technology systems operations
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Works under general supervision; Typically reports to a project leader or manager
- Perform, manage, and document work activities relating to projects, sub-projects, or processes
- As a Technical Support III, you will plan, design, and build high quality IT software solutions in accordance with Company IT standards
- Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners and other stakeholders
- Utilize understanding of customer's business needs to determine requirements
- Performs a variety of tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
- May require an Associate degree in a related area and 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Experience and skills with IT infrastructure and application technologies, such as Web/Application (.NET/Java), WebSphere or WebLogic, relational database (Oracle, SQL Server), Microsoft Windows (Desktop/Server), Unix/Linux operating systems, Scripting, SQL, and other technical tools
- Experience with Passport/Asset Suite is a plus
- Experience supporting handheld devices, including end user support is a plus
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
- Ability to apply technical expertise to plan, design, build, or support required products and processes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
