RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Linthicum Heights, MO that is seeking several Systems Test Engineers to support on-site, dedicated 2nd and 3rd shift and weekend test bench operations for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) of a production Space Payload program. Responsibilities include executing test scripts for the verification of Software, Hardware, and System requirements for applications in Space.REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math), or High School diploma with at least 4 years of relevant military experience with sensor system; Ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance, or military control room console operator; or defense industry work experience with sensor system
- Willingness to work dedicated 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends for several months continuously (2nd shift is typically 1 PM - 10 PM; 3rd shift is typically 9 PM - 6 AM)
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) systems, especially RADAR, SIGINT, or COMMS
- Programming and scripting skills
- Working knowledge of RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, etc.) is desired
- Experience with RADAR and/or ESA (Electronically Scanned Array) integration and test
- Experience with Space Payload or Space Vehicle (Satellite) integration and test in a clean room environment
- Programming in C or MATLAB for understanding and editing/improving existing code
- Scripting in Python or Tcl for understanding and editing/improving existing scripts
- Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
