Position Summary:
Carboline is seeking a IT Support Technician I, located at our headquarters in St. Louis, MO. The focus of this position will be providing first level support regarding computer issues and updates and/or routing calls to the appropriate Level 2 support when needed. Maintain user accounts and control access to files on the servers and shared mailboxes in the cloud. Set up new accounts for our IP phone system and troubleshoot any issues. Deploys new PC's as needed.
Requirements:
Windows 10 troubleshooting, Microsoft Active Directory, MS 365, MS Azure, MS Office skills. Good written and verbal communication skills, and strong customer service/interpersonal skills. SharePoint Creation and Mobile Device troubleshooting is preferred.
Preferred Certifications: CompTIA (A+, Security+), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day. No unusual environmental requirements are associated with this position. Periodically lifts up to 40 pounds.
Essential Functions:
- Provides user support for various systems including Windows 10.
- Create users in Microsoft Active Directory and management in MS Azure
- Maintain Help Desk call tracking
- Create and maintain users for an IP phone system hosted in the cloud
- Assist with new hire computer training during onboarding training
- Processes new computer setup and deployment using Endpoint Manager
- Support of end user's configuration requirements for various systems.
- Troubleshooting various applications.
- Committed to the Company's safety and quality programs.
