- The daily maintenance and preparation of surveying equipment and vehicle.
- Provides assistance to the Survey Manager in regard to layout and measurements.
- Operating GPS, Trimble, and Total Solution equipment.
- Maintaining all surveying supplies.
- Comparing survey computations with applicable standards to determine the adequacy of data.
- Equipment verification once a month.
- Attends safety meetings and training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years of survey experience on highway/roadway construction projects.
- High School diploma is highly
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English or Spanish, due to the nature of the job.
- Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs. several times a day.
- Must be able to work overtime and be flexible with hours. (daytime/nighttime)
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be accustomed to working in an outside environment
- Must work well under pressure.
- Must possess and maintain clean Florida driver's license.
