Develop supply plans, capacity plans, inventory targets, and performance standards for the Ingredient Solutions division. Performance metrics will ensure optimal capacity utilization, order fulfillment, inventory investment optimization, and finished goods master data integrity. Develop and report for supply plans in sales and operations planning process to meet customer needs and optimize profitability across the portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive supply and capacity plans based on customer requirements, material supply balanced with profitability of commodities, to meet customer service levels while minimizing production, transportation, and warehousing costs.

- Focus on service level performance, inventory optimization, and cost of goods (COGs) through supply optimization; track and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics versus established targets. Review production performance and update planning rates to accurately reflect plant capabilities and available capacity

- Collaborate with Production Planners on the tactical execution of the supply plan and ensure alignment of planning parameters with the factory level constrains

- Plan for unexpected demand and supply opportunities

- Review weekly sales and finished goods inventory data and advise product teams of unexpected trends and/or inventory balances. Assist in long-range capacity studies to resolve requirements for new equipment and facilities.

- Work closely with Production Planning to develop action plans to resolve operational issues that affect supply

- Monitor and communicate trends and cross-functionally develop recommendations for continuous improvement

- Lead weekly and monthly planning meetings with factories

- Identify and integrate business system processes within ERP system. Coordinate reporting and analytical measurement tools to ensure business objectives are being met

- Manage the accuracy of SAP supply planning related master data; maintain, review and update all inputs used to calculate safety stocks and inventory targets

- Participate in and lead Continuous Improvement projects related to functional area

- Key performance metrics: Capacity utilization, DIFOT, Schedule Adherence, Inventory Days on Hand

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field

-5 to 8 years of experience working in supply and inventory planning required

-Certification and/or Licenses - Preferred: Six Sigma Green or Black Belt; APICS Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM); and Project Management Professional (PMP)

-Knowledge of company computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and SAP or similar ERP planning system required

-Strong math and analytical skills required

-Strong communication skills with ability to shift style with audience

-Able to elicit cooperation from variety of sources, including management, production planning, quality teams, logistics, procurement, etc.

-Able to multi-task and problem solve

-Able to handle challenging or conflict situations with tact and professionalism

-Able to consider both strategic and practical implications for proposed course of action

-Able to prioritize and meet deadlines

-Able to manage multiple various projects with sense of urgency

-Able to work collaboratively with employees in a variety of departments and build consensus around key initiatives

-Able to perform task and duties without constant supervision

-Able to read, write, and speak English
