Who are we looking for?

Our Americas Engineering Design Organization is expanding and looking for a Structural Designer to join their team in Orlando, FL! In this role, you will support our Structural Engineering team with the design of various concrete and steel structures for major infrastructure, building and industrial projects, including water/wastewater treatment plants, energy and building structures.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Develop high quality designs and contract drawings using AutoCAD and/or BIM (such as REVIT)
• Coordinate with other discipline's designs to assure continuity and accuracy of the project designs
• Monitor consistency and quality of modelling and documentation of project teams.
• Manage and update company standard details
• Embrace the benefits of advances in software to innovate and improve existing systems and develop new project delivery solutions.

What you will bring to the Team

• Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Design/Drafting, Architectural Design or related field. Bachelor's degree may also be considered
• 5+ years of structural design experience
• Knowledgeable of building systems, including a general knowledge of concrete and steel structures
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience working with 3D design software Revit and Navisworks
• Ability to manage multiple design projects with strong time management skills
