How will you make an impact?

The Supply chain process transformation manager will be responsible for driving global process transformation across key supply chain planning areas, with a focus on achieving Thermofisher's Digital supply chain capability roadmap

Process transformation initiatives are global in nature and will cut across multiple groups including some or all aspects of the supply chain from plan, source, make and deliver to support key capability areas.

This position will be embedded in the Global Digital supply chain team, while working closely with business groups to define key requirements, influence solution design decisions and operationalize data driven processes.

The role will include building robust process documentation, aligning on critical metrics across all groups and divisions. Driving consensus and achieving agreement to common frameworks while allowing for legitimate business model nuances will be important.

A critical aspect of this role is change management and working with the divisions to adopt and embrace different approaches, methodologies, processes

What will you do?

  • Conduct cross functional workshops / Work with business groups to baseline current state capabilities, identify areas of opportunity; Synthesize inputs to outline a common end state vision for process and digital supply chain excellence
  • Collaborate across business groups / divisions to develop best-of-breed solutions to address a range of supply chain performance issues from demand planning, production planning, materials, inventory and distribution planning
  • Work with divisional partners to build prototype solutions ; address key use case opportunity areas while influencing the broader digital supply chain roadmap
  • Collaborate with division teams on process integration including outline of process cadence, roles and responsibilities, and initial piloting
  • Operationalize the use of defined digital tools as standard business practice to drive efficiency and P&L impact across the divisions
  • Prepare process transformation updates to the executive team to highlight progress, quantifiable results, and raise key risks
  • Manage consistent cadence of communication across all business and technology partners
How will you get here?

Education:

Qualifications / Experience
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, business management, or related field
Experience:
  • 5-10 years of end to end supply chain experience required
  • Robust data and analytics background / skills; ability to work with big data
  • Strong project management skills - ability to clearly articulate roadmaps, progress, key issues and risks
  • Strong leadership skills including teamwork and facilitation, and ability to influence, drive consensus and change
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively work across multiple divisions and network with supply chain leaders
