Caterpillar's Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) is hiring a Sr. Strategy Consultant / Aftermarket Program Manager to prioritize and execute CISD Aftermarket growth plan dependencies.

Role Summary: You will be responsible for the cadence, quality and process improvement of CISD Aftermarket growth plans dependencies. Dependencies are raised by Caterpillar dealers as critical enablers toward executing their aftermarket growth strategy. Dependencies address gaps with Product (physical and digital) and Service attributes: price, value, serviceability, distribution. You'll make decisions that may shape digital systems, multiple products within a product line, processes or factories and customers' perception of the company.

What You'll Do

  • Focus on long-range business strategies and near-term execution
  • Establish a culture that encourages innovation, partnership and collaborative relationships with a customer focus
  • Provide guidance & support on the execution of projects and help remove barriers as they arise
  • Address continual change - increasing competitive pressures, new technology, product complexity and customer demands
  • Work with different internal customers, depending on the specific assignment, including component divisions, machine business divisions and digital solution owners
  • Navigate each division's culture and achieve consensus to enable successful project execution
  • Manage decisions that may have significant impact on sales and future product direction and cause an evolutionary effect on technology
  • Partner with dependency solution owners to ensure the successful completion of accepted dependencies
  • Monitor and track dependencies to ensure proper processing in a timely manner
  • Partner with LTMs (Leadership Table Members) and dealers to understand and document return on investment from any completed dependency
  • Main contact for CISD related to LT (Leadership Table) processes
  • Liaison with Global Leadership Table team to ensure consistent execution and implementation of LT process across the organization and verticals
  • Onboarding and training of LTMs
  • Monitoring and facilitating the development of CISD Global Statements
What You Have
  • Progressive, job related experience including process execution, data gathering and analysis of metrics reporting, sales/marketing, program/project management
  • Strong organization skills and advanced project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across product, industry, dealer and/or customer audiences to gain understanding and acceptance of aftermarket initiatives; strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to deal with challenging issues, mentor and coach and/or persuade others on a new approach, new application, or potential solution through value selling skills

Top Candidates Will Also Have
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills to work with people from many different backgrounds, cultures and levels within the organization
  • Six sigma / black belt experience
  • Strategic thinking and critical thinking skills along with negotiation and strong decision making capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or Engineering

Additional Details
  • Work Locations: Cary, NC; Dallas, TX or Peoria, IL
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available to one of these work locations unless you already reside in one of the of these locations
  • Travel up to 10%
