Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr Machine Learning Engineer to join their team and contribute to their universal forecasting models. If you're passionate about leveraging machine learning to drive impactful business decisions, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists in a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment to take ML models into production.
• Attend meetings as necessary to align project goals and requirements.
• Adapt to an Agile development environment, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to implement and optimize forecasting models.
• Effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities within the team.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in the following areas:
  • ARIMA: Proficiency in time series forecasting using ARIMA models.
  • FB Prophet: Familiarity with Facebook Prophet for trend forecasting.
  • Python: Strong coding skills in Python for model development and deployment.
  • Gluon: Exposure to Gluon, a deep learning interface for Apache MXNet.
  • Hadoop: 2 - 4 years of experience working with Hadoop.
  • Seasonal Naive: Understanding of seasonal forecasting using naive methods.
  • Universal Forecasting Models: Previous work on universal forecasting models is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills:
  • Self-Starter: Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Solid Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and drive results.
  • Implementation Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in implementing ML solutions.

Application Architecture: Our application architecture includes technologies such as OpenShift, Linux, Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop, MongoDB, APIs, and extensive Python code.

Team Collaboration: You'll collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including application architects, web engineers, data engineers, data scientists, application system managers, system integrators, and quality engineers. Additionally, you'll primarily work with a core team of approximately 15 members, both onshore and offshore.
