About the Role

A successful Senior Business Data Analyst will develop and present data-driven insights to improve customer supply chains. Specifically, they will understand technical requirements, anticipate customer needs, analyze data, create actionable insights, and develop business intelligence dashboards to entice stakeholders to improve their supply chains. They will do this by leveraging both logistics/transportation business knowledge and analytical acumen to serve as the primary point-of-contact for all business intelligence activity. Business intelligence activity will include reporting, visualization, analysis, dashboard demonstrations, presentations, and training.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Utilize Uber Freight data to develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights
• Serve as primary analytical consultant for customer reporting and business intelligence
• Perform cost, service, and carrier management analyses and establish how they relate
• Work with clients and internal teams to determine and implement meaningful KPIs and to perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis
• Test newly developed reports / dashboards (fields and business rules) for accuracy and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Transportation experience
• Experience working with advanced Transportation Management Systems
• Strong ability in Microsoft Excel and Tableau in a reporting / data analysis capacity
• Demonstrated ability to drive business performance through operational improvements and process automation
