The Lab Manager/Research Coordinator will serve in both research and administrative roles within the Mind & Body Lab. Our lab is launching a new randomized controlled trial exploring the effects of a digital mindset intervention tailored for individuals recently diagnosed with cancer. As part of our team, you'll play a vital role in coordinating this study. The position is a 100%, one-year, fixed term non-exempt appointment with the possibility of renewal. This position will be based on the Stanford campus.
Responsibilities
60% Study Coordination (Cancer Mindset Study)
·Ensure compliance with research protocols.
·Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining all forms and documents, including consent forms and master subject logs.
·Perform research duties and projects as applicable in collaboration with other researchers (e.g., postdocs).
·Supervise and manage a team of research assistants.
·Assist in the recruitment of participants and data collection.
·Coordinate collection of dried blood spots and storing.
·Assist in the preparation and publication of research abstracts and manuscripts.
40% Administrative
·Be the primary point of contact for any lab-related questions from people inside and outside the lab
·Help manage lab finances and assist with grant submissions and reports
·Design resources and workflows to support lab projects
·Hire, train, and mentor undergraduate research assistants
·Manage lab website, calendar, and software
·Organize lab meetings and events

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education & Experience:
Two year college degree and one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Preferred Qualifications
·Prior clinical research experience, preferably in psychology, medicine, biosciences or related fields
·Experience with project coordination
·Familiarity with data collection tools and platforms (e.g., REDcap, Qualtrics
·Familiarity with data management and analysis tools (e.g., R)

The expected pay range for this position is $23.56 to $34.13 per hour.
