A Kforce client is seeking to hire a ServiceNow Administrator in Newport News, Virginia (VA).Responsibilities include:
  • Develop clear, concise technical and process documentation
  • Understand new ServiceNow features and unused module functionality to drive platform expansion and adoption
  • ServiceNow Administrator will continuously review of new ServiceNow modules, other commercially available software to ensure the ServiceNow platform and tools remain current
  • Plan, test, and implement version upgrades
  • Executing advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities
  • Building and maintaining integrations using Web Services, JDBC, middleware
  • Custom development, configuration, and testing, including developing customizations in ServiceNow to meet project objectives and business needs
  • Day to day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, work with teams to develop solutions in ServiceNow
  • Build requested items and task using workflows to manage process
  • ServiceNow Administrator will work with teams to resolve support issues in ServiceNow
  • Create and configure Business Rules, UI Polices, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACL's
  • Create and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, and Formatters
  • Create reports and dashboards as needed


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, and Technology; Master's degree of Technology
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator
  • Certified SCRUM Master (CSM)
  • Certified ITIL Foundation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
