Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Ensure the quality and functionality of software solutions along with directing software development projects, testing and debugging code, analyzing the needs of users, designing, and developing solutions using the software development cycle, collaborating with the team to brainstorm and create new products, working with junior and mid-level engineers. Create and develop highly functional and intuitive web user interface components, webpages, sites and software's features. Design, Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend applications. Build and program high performance application interfaces for the User Interface to communicate with backend systems using software technologies such as REST APIs and GraphQL. Developing aesthetically pleasing web UI components based on design and applications using languages and frameworks including JavaScript, typescript, React.js Node.JS, HTML5, and CSS4 (or CSS frameworks such as bootstrap, Material UI). Optimize the website performance and it's components and perform intensive and thorough manual unit and integration testing. Translate features in test suites and test cases. Integrating the software applications and components with automated unit and test frameworks such as Jest and packages such as React testing library. Build Dashboards for the applications and systems health, performance and monitoring using technologies such as Grafana and Splunk logging. Work with Data visualization tools including Tableau to monitor systems. Work on functional requirement documentation and specifications by communicating and working closely with cross functional teams such as Product and Program management teams, collaborate with UI/UX designers on designing and implementing robust and intuitive web user interfaces and reusable frontend components. Integrate applications to use automated CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins. Maintain code repositories using version control systems such as Github. Follow and embrace AGILE development methodologies and Scrum practices for timely and organized software deliverables. Track development progress and initiatives along with bug tracking. Document application architectures and progresses along with initiative discussions.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience building Web components and applications using React JS, HTML and CSS. Experience writing Unit and Integration Tests using testing frameworks including Jest, Mocha, and React Testing library. Experience designing and developing REST API web services. Experience integrating User Interface with Graphql or REST API web services. Experience building dashboards to interpret business and application data using Tableau. Experience building software backend applications using programming language and framework including Node.js. Experience maintaining application infrastructure on Cloud Services including Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure. Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery using Jenkins. Experience with application code repository maintenance using version control system including Git and GitHub. Experience with publishing application logs using Splunk and build dashboards using Grafana. Experience with documenting and maintaining software requirements on tools including Confluence and maintaining work progress using Bug tracking software including Jira. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $182,073/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
