Baer is looking for Senior Oracle Payroll Functional Consultant for a 3+ month project located in Tennessee.

Title: Senior Oracle Payroll Functional Consultant
Location: Remote (Must be based in US) + 25% Travel to Tennessee
Duration: 3+ Months with Likely Extension
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 Only (Vendors Not Permitted)

Description:

• Lead and manage Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Provide expert consultation to clients on payroll best practices, system configuration, and process optimization.
• Analyze client requirements and design solutions to meet their payroll needs, including NRA, Student, and Rehired Retiree tax requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to integrate payroll processes with other business systems.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities for client teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and Oracle Cloud Payroll enhancements to provide proactive recommendations to clients.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide guidance on complex payroll scenarios.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Payroll Functional Consultant, preferably in a managerial or senior role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation and configuration.
• In-depth understanding of payroll requirements for Non-Resident Aliens (NRA), Students, Rehired Retirees, and similar categories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate client requirements into practical solutions.
• Oracle Payroll certification(s) preferred.
• Prior experience in leading payroll transformation projects is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
