Senior Manager Customer Development - Walmart Raw Poultry

Summary:
This position is responsible for leading and building strong effective partnerships with key Walmart stakeholders (i.e. Merchandising, Business Development, Replenishment) for the Fresh Poultry category.

Responsibilities include:

• Development of new business opportunities and growth of existing portfolio to deliver on sales targets.
  
• Closely monitoring market conditions and effectively presenting business updates, leveraging analytical capabilities from Customer and External/Internal data sources.
  
• Regular business reviews across assigned categories, including promotional activity and strategic planning.
  
• Working closely with Tyson Customer Development on marketing strategies to drive portfolio growth.
  
• Collaboration with cross-functional leaders in Operations, Demand Planning, Finance, Customer Service, and Quality Assurance to deliver objectives.
  
• Evaluation, development, negotiation, and implementation of customer specific/trade related programs.
  

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Experience: 6 plus years of industry experience consumer-packaged goods or food manufacturer is preferred, 2 plus years Direct Sales Experience or Sales/Customer facing roles with Walmart or Sam's preferred; strong analytical skills required.
Computer Skills: Requires above average computer skills for robust analysis and reporting.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Travel: 3-4 Out of town trips annually with weekly trips to Walmart.
