Job Summary:

Caterpillar's Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) team seeks a Senior Director of Finance. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced financial leader who wants to be challenged in a business facing role that has a direct impact on business performance. This position is a key member of the Sales, Marketing, Services & Parts (SMSP) leadership team and leads the global Business Resources team that supports the SMSP organization.

Job Duties:

  • Managing all aspects of accounting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis.
  • Tracking, reporting on and managing the overall financial performance of the organization.
  • Participating in strategy development and execution to drive improved financial, commercial, and operational performance.
  • Providing business analysis support by establishing target costs, guiding the S&OP and orders management process, driving aftermarket growth strategies, supporting 3rd party pricing, etc.
  • Leading and ensuring compliance with corporate policies, procedures, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Providing business insights and guidance to the Sales, Marketing, Service & Parts VP and IPSD CFO.
  • Developing and leading a world-wide team of over 30 finance professionals, overseeing, and evaluating the activities of the finance staff, and providing guidance for their professional development.
Background/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree within Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 13+ years of financial experience, preferably within a large and/or multinational corporation.
  • Experience with legal entity and financial planning and analysis.
  • Initiative, leadership, business judgement, effective organization skills and accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology in process transformation.
Additional Details:
  • Location: Seguin, TX or Peterborough, UK
  • Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify.
  • 15%-25% travel is expected.
