Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor: Direct Hire

Looking for someone who can assist with:

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts by providing cost-related inputs. Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for any discrepancies.

Inventory Management: Work closely with inventory management teams to ensure accurate valuation of inventory and reconcile inventory accounts. Analyze inventory levels and trends to optimize stocking levels and minimize carrying costs.

Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to ensure that expenditures are within budgetary limits. Develop and maintain cost standards for products and services.

Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare actual costs with budgeted or standard costs. Investigate and explain significant variances to management.

Financial Reporting: Prepare regular reports on cost trends, cost drivers, and cost-saving initiatives for management review. Provide insights and recommendations based on cost analysis.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

-Prior experience mentoring or managing accountants

-Heavy General Ledger experience and AP/AR

-Cost/inventory Accounting

-Experience with Quickbooks and/or netsuite
