Position Overview:
The Salesforce Administrator / Developer will assist in the ongoing maintenance and development of our Salesforce instance and roadmap. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using Salesforce as a company-wide CRM platform. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes to improve the overall use and function of Salesforce. This role is part administrator and part Salesforce developer. The Salesforce Administrator / Developer will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.

The Salesforce Administrator will take an active role in building the consolidated CRM platform to serve and scale the entire business, specifically focusing on selecting and managing the Salesforce integrator(s), designing performance metrics, and creating streamlined operational processes.What you will do and achieve:

  • Serve as system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 300+ users.
  • Handle all day-to-day administrative functions including user account maintenance, territory management, reports and dashboards, workflows and other administration/maintenance requests, which arise from incoming JIRA requests
  • Design, configure and administer Salesforce including, but not limited to, Apex code and supporting test classes, Custom Objects, Workflow Rules, Custom Fields, Validation Rules and VisualForce Pages
  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization
  • Maintain a holistic view of all processes and users in the company and across key lines of business
  • Manage the system to understand cross-functional impacts with regards to configuration, process, workflow automation and reporting
  • Assist in the retirement of legacy technologies as the company centralizes to a common architecture.
  • Create and distribute dashboards based on the sales/marketing leadership needs, targets, and goal metrics. Present data and findings to internal leaders and cross-functional teams
Who you are:
Education
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator or equivalent work experience required
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot, Community Cloud certifications
Experience
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator and developer
Key Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • Strong data management abilities
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Demonstrated ability to support key system integration and implement projects which drive business process improvement and technology standardization
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Experience with supporting alternative CRM applications (Hubspot and Zendesk) is considered an asset but not essential.
Other Desirable Attributes
  • Salesforce Administration Certification of 201, or better
  • Developer certifications
  • Demonstrated ability with Einstein Analytics (or similar tools)
