Job Title:Research Senior TechnicianDepartment:Medicine | Surgery Cardiac

Assists and supports scientific investigation providing basic and general laboratory operational and clerical support to the Division of Cardiac Surgery within the Department of Surgery; prepares porcine tissue/organs for use in cardiac simulation; stocks and organizes laboratory supplies; runs errands to ship, pick up or deliver materials or persons; assists with miscellaneous administrative duties as needed. Oversees and maintains accurate records of laboratory activities.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education experience; 0-1 years' relevant experience required; ability to translate, adapt and apply academic or practical knowledge in the conduct of biological/health science research is required. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
