Job Summary
As a low carbon infrastructure commercialization research intern, you'll support the team in assessing and developing strategies for bringing sustainable technologies to market. Responsibilities include market analysis, financial modeling, and assisting in project implementation to promote environmentally friendly infrastructure solutions.
This in-person position is expected to last the entire summer term, beginning in June 2024 and continuing through August 2024. Please Note: We ask for a minimum of 8-10 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.
Job Description
- Research and collect information from the market for low carbon concrete product solution.
- Support data analytics to develop and establish the effectiveness of technology transfer strategies.
- Assist in preparation of detailed LEED Submittal form before commercialization.
- Gather information to calculate embodied carbon content indicating the global warming potential of a product.
- Perform Life Cycle Impact assessment results of a product using EPD calculator.
Minimum Qualification
- Must be pursuing at least Master or PhD degree in Civil Engineering Materials/ Chemical Engineering / Environmental Science.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Agile learning, Cement and Concrete lab experience preferred.
