The Regional Portfolio Marketing Specialist supports Regional Portfolio Marketing with regional product launches, including sales enablement and associated product marketing initiatives. This role is critical in maintaining on-time, successful market launches and ongoing promotional strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage details around regional launches, including timeline, marketing launch materials, and sales enablement. When needed, alert responsible parties to near-term or missed deadlines and work with them on resolution in check-in meetings and other forums.
  • Work with regional marketing on any issues with developing GTM strategy, as needed.
  • Work closely with the Regional Portfolio Manager to ensure effective communication of launch details, including product differentiators and value propositions, to the marketing, sales, and Portfolio Marketing teams.
  • Develop an understanding of Vertiv's audiences, segments, verticals, buyer needs, and how Vertiv's solutions answer these needs.
  • Support Portfolio Marketing annual planning, launch strategy, and campaigns, as needed.
  • Support the Regional Portfolio Manager in developing firm project timelines and lines of communication to support launch success.
  • Provide up-to-date information and fact-based direction when needed to guide marketing launch teams' day-to-day activities.
  • May work with project managers to ensure proper reporting is available to key stakeholders and track other data as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Project management experience a plus.
  • Related market/industry experience desirable.
  • Product management experience a plus.

  • Strong writing, communication, presentation development, and delivery skills
  • Ability to gather and analyze data and communicate results and how the results influence actions clearly and succinctly.
  • Ability to craft compelling sales enablement material that motivates, engages, and supports product sales.
  • Ability to build relationships and promote two-way communication across functions to drive efficient transfer of knowledge and improved visibility of launches and product initiatives.
  • Flexible thinker who can adjust to changing demands.
