Quality Inspector II

Job Summary

Following Quality and all other requirements (internal, OEM standards, Industry Standards), performs all the geometric measurement activities.

Duties may include:

• Define measurement standards.
  
• Provide support for problem analysis including preparation of measurement results and presentation to requester.
  
• Ensure that national or international norms related to metrology are maintained.
  
• Distribute, file, and archive all measurement and tests results.
  
• Support Incoming goods inspection process where needed.
  
• Set up the planning of equipment calibration.
  
• Complete all Receiving Inspection activities.
  
• Control the calibration performed.
  
• Contribute to checking fixture development for new projects if required.
  
• Support or conduct Measurement System Analysis (GR&R and Attribute MSA) for the Plant Measurement systems. This includes maintenance and checks on all hard (attribute) gauges.
  
• Have a working understanding of Capability, SPC, Measure system Analysis.
  

Minimum Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, math, and comprehension skills
  
• Ability to read and comprehend customer specification sheets
  
• Basic computer skills (Should be familiar with Microsoft Office)
  
• Familiarity with or experience with CMM / Faro Arm with understanding of measuring parts
  
• Equipment maintenance and calibration
  
• Good planning capabilities (scheduling)
  
• Some Experience in dealing technically with Suppliers and / or Customers
  
• Self-management, Communicative (able to make written and oral presentations
