QA Automation - Intermediate
BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated QA Automation in Jersey City, NJ area!

Job Title: QA Automation
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 12 months Contract to Hire
Hybrid Model: 3 Days onsite 2 days remote
The role will include the following major functions/responsibilities:
- Use tools like JIRA to document software requirements in Gherkin format using cucumber framework that will help in test driven development and test automation.
- Design Test Scenarios and develop test plan for System integration testing and User acceptance testing
- Develop software that will be used in automation of the quality assurance phase of JPMorgan Wealth Management Servicing Platform that includes multiple internal facing web applications, middleware services and databases.
- Develop test automation software using Selenium web-driver, Rest assured Java framework for the user interface and the APIs (Application programming interface) for the various JPMorgan Wealth Management Servicing platform features.
- Evaluate and identify the right automation tool and framework for new features.
- Develop code to execute the automation test suite and generate the test execution report as part of CI/CD (Continuous integration and Continuous deployment) pipeline.
- Produce comprehensive test cases for all developed code. Must also support and participate in system and integrated testing across sub-systems as the need arises.
- Perform regression testing for every release to ensure the new code is not negatively impacting existing functionalities. Automate the regression test cases to speed up future code deployments.
- Ensure coverage of all aspects of application testing and test automation
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years experience related field.
- Strong technical, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Hands on experience in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress etc..
- Hands on experience in test driven development and frameworks like Cucumber
- Proficient in PL/SQL and reading, writing SQL queries,
- Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work with diversified multi-location team.
- Experience with working on Agile/Scrum method of product implementation and delivery.
- Experience with Maven build and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Source repositories Bitbucket or GitHub.
