Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in the Northeast region of the United States! In this role, you will participate in the planning, design and construction engineering of water, wastewater, utilities, infrastructure and site-development projects for our wide range of municipal and private clients with a key focus on treatment plant design and linear infrastructure.

This role can be based in either our Burlington, MA or Hyannis, MA offices.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Assisting with the preparation of water and wastewater plans, technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates and project permits
  • Leading production of portions of design and construction projects
  • Establishing client relationships and winning work
  • Working on multi-disciplinary projects and helping to coordinate these efforts
  • Assisting in developing conference abstracts and participating in technical conferences
  • Provide mentorship and development advice to junior level staff
What you will bring to the team:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
  • 4-8 years of project experience in water / wastewater / stormwater / utility / infrastructure design / energy sector / industrial sites / grading plans
  • Experience with land development projects including grading, site development, and stormwater management systems
  • Familiarity with engineering modelling software including: HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, SewerGEMS
  • Knowledge of engineering drafting software by Autodesk (Civil 3D) and ability to work closely with CAD professionals
