This position reports to Project Management Office (PMO) Manager in Released Project Management (RPM) PMO. This position can be onsite (North Haven, CT, Boston, MA, Lafayette, CO) or remote and may include occasional travel.

This position will be responsible for a subset of KTBR (Keep The Business Running) projects impacting our Hugo Surgical Robot. The position will be responsible for prioritization of most important projects and driving project deliverables in accordance with SOPs and business processes. This role will work cross-functionally across the Robotic Surgical Technologies (RST) platform, with key partnerships including RPE (Released Product Engineering), Operations, Sourcing, DQE (Design Quality Engineering), SQE (Supplier Quality Engineering) and Contract Manufacturing sites. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are critical to success in this role, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You will:
• Be the central point of contact for RPM priorities within your assigned subset of projects
• Monitor and prioritize projects and their subsequent subtasks; create and manage project schedules, Jira maintenance, etc.
• Governance and standardization of RPM KTBR Process
• Optimize and enhance RPM processes as we roll-out RPM to the greater MDT Robotics organization and across the SOU (Surgical Operating Unit)
• Track and monitor project resources and finances
• Escalate urgent issues, drive approvals and track project milestones
• Manage and create dashboards to report RPM KPIs; Generate reports and analysis as needed to communicate to leadership and key stakeholders
• Evaluate and monitor project risks and escalations

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelors Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7 years of experience required

Must Have:
• Experience with highly regulated and/or safety-critical systems (medical device experience strongly preferred)
• Proficiency in excel required
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast passed, cross disciplinary environment
• Ability to discuss technical details with engineering staff
• Astonishing level of attention to detail
• Ability to consistently push for results for self and others.

Nice to have:
• PMP/ other PM certification and experience leading projects
• Familiarity with change control processes (CDPs and SCRs)
• Experience with Jira, ProChain, Smartsheet, Agile
• DRM or Gren Belt Certiciation
