Job Description
- Conduct laboratory-scale cell culture studies (shake flask through bioreactors) to support characterization of cell banks and manufacturing processes.
- Perform basic laboratory support work such as preparation of solutions, sample submission, and equipment calibration.
- Coordinate with a broader scientific team to align on lab activities and process.
- Comply with all GxP standards, GHS policies, and current written procedures and protocols.
- Statistically analyze and review large data sets and draft technical reports to support studies.
- Perform project ownership responsibilities for lab-scale studies.
- Present on technical topics during cross functional meetings.
- Work in a fast-paced lab environment.
- Balance multiple projects and tasks, prioritize and execute them independently, while communicating with all impacted parties.
Qualifications
- Must have a BS/BA in life sciences/engineering or related field
- Authorization to work in the United States
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply. Pay is between $19.50-22.50/hr and determined on education and experience level.
