Role Description

The Zoetis Veterinary Medicine Research and Development (VMRD) group is looking for a PLM and Data Management Lead to join our rapidly growing diagnostics division in Union City, CA. The PLM and Data Management Lead will be a key resource to support the implementation and rollout of PLM at our Diagnostic facility by answering questions related to PLM, and create, review and process changes related to product related items (parts and documents) in various systems. They will report to the Manager of Product Lifecycle Management and Data Management.

  • Organize and lead continuous process improvement for change management activities within PLM.
  • Act as expert support on business processes necessary to support change management implementation.
  • Recognize, analyze, and support leadership to solve business challenges that can be addressed within PLM
  • Define priorities of work to support business objectives, initiatives and projects.
  • Create, review and process changes within the PLM system and other systems where documentation is stored.
  • Serve as a PLM Analyst and/or Data Steward within the PLM and ERP database systems - Propel and SAP.
  • Support users with questions related to changes and item creation/revision in PLM.
  • Support and develop training as necessary to support successful adoption of business processes within PLM
  • Provide other department support as required by immediate manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • B.S. degree in Engineering or a related technical field; or another degree or commensurate experience directly correlated to the role.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with data systems.
  • Demonstrated project or team lead experience.
  • Demonstrated change management process experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in critical thinking, problem-solving skills, planning and organizing.
  • Excellent communication skills, facilitation as well as collaborative, teamwork capabilities.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
  • Understanding of SAP BOM and Material Master functions.
  • Experience with PLM or Document management systems.

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in [California]. Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

Base Pay Range: $71,000 - $122,000

[This position is eligible for short-term incentive compensation.] [The position is also eligible for long-term incentive.]
