Antea USA, Inc. (Antea®Group) is a global provider of Environmental, Health and Safety, and Sustainability services and solutions across multiple industry sectors. We are seeking a Senior Consultant to contribute to Antea Group's business in the Remediation Sector, specifically around PFAS/Emerging Contaminants.

The Senior Consultant will be tasked with working Antea Group's polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) strategy with an established team. We are seeking a mature consultant who will assist in executing our market strategy through a sound understanding of the PFAS marketplace and services. The chosen candidate will benefit from our technical expertise and global reputation. You must have experience managing consulting assignments, enjoy and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams, and as a SME be expected to be proficient in the analysis and communication of information. The goal will be to work cooperatively with colleagues, clients, agencies, and trade organizations to further enhance our PFAS/Emerging Contaminant Service Line. You must demonstrate a commitment to mentoring and developing staff.

The ideal candidate will provide technical and business leadership in the human health or environmental sciences with applications to the pharmaceutical, chemical, manufacturing, energy, food & beverage, technology, government, and/or legal sectors. He/She/them will have a deep understanding of complex environmental, chemical, and toxicological characteristics of PFAS and the challenges that they present. Specifically, someone who has experience assisting clients navigate the rapidly evolving regulatory environment surrounding PFAS management and assisting them with selecting the most effective approach to identify and resolve their PFAS risk. Prior business development experience is also preferred.

Antea Group is flexible with respect to the location of the selected candidate (U.S.).

In this role, the ideal candidate will work closely with the Remediation Practice Leadership Team to:

  • Executing the PFAS Service Line strategy by understanding the market, implementing fit-for-purpose services, and building teams to deliver to our clients;
  • Demonstrating thought leadership, through activities such as client presentations, webinars, and client alerts, and/or participating in local, national, and international scientific, professional, and trade group meetings;
  • Applicants for a principal-level position will have demonstrated the ability to generate revenues sufficient to support 2-3 staff members; applicants for the Senior Managing Consultant position shall have the demonstrated ability to support themselves;
  • Managing projects, clients, and regulatory agency relations;
  • Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines and business units;
  • Guiding staff in their careers and promoting staff development;
  • Building deep trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders and defining a compelling value proposition;
  • Develop and promote the Antea Group brand by leading the development of relevant content to be delivered through live forums, digital and other media, and by participating in industry-specific associations and other forums to provide awareness of our offerings; and
  • Lead client accounts and support Client Account Leaders in the development of existing and new accounts through relationship building and the diversification of provided service offerings.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in scientific consulting, including a track record of successful team building and business development;
  • An academic degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Chemistry, Risk Assessment, or related discipline;
  • Recognized as a lead provider in PFAS-related risk management for our client portfolio.
  • Ability to manage external client and regulatory agency relationships and internal staff;
  • Specifically, experience working in Environmental, Health and Safety, and Sustainability programs. A focus on PFAS (per -and polyfluoroalkyl substances);
  • A keen interest in PFAS contaminant, and in helping companies navigate the challenges associated with the rapidly evolving regulations;
  • Experience in a fast-paced, changing/growing organization;
  • Well networked within the industry, e.g., trade associations, working groups, roundtables, the legal community, etc.
  • Ability to conduct consultative sales including the ability to identify client needs and build consulting solutions;
  • Must have an ardent desire to talk with, influence, lead a team, and directly interface with multiple clients and stakeholders. Additionally, must be able to take direction and coaching from both clients and team members;
  • Superior analytical/problem-solving, written, verbal & interpersonal communication;
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future;
  • Compliance with any client requirements, including but not limited to COVID-19 vaccine mandates; and
  • Potential employeesmust be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, pre-employment drug screening (as permitted by law), and baseline physical(safety-sensitive roles). They must also have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment - Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include the following:
  • Sedentary to light work (typical office or administrative work)
  • Frequently required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of low (under 25lbs) to moderate (25-49lbs) weight objects
  • Repetitive motions: substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (including reaching)
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions (protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change)
  • Operation of a motor vehicle
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The annual salary range for this position is $150,000.00 - $200,000.00. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant's job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.
