Performance Tester

Automated performance and load testing of software and systems using JMeter, LoadRUnner, VUGen, and Analyzer.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and validate software products and systems to ensure they meet company and customer quality benchmarks.
• Develop automated load test scripts tailored for Release-specific and Regression load tests of MSPSC systems.
• Establish and execute software/systems load testing standards and procedures, including performance testing.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Quality Assurance team members, potentially overseeing their work.
• Prepare load test data to fulfill various test scenarios.
• Collaborate with DevOps, AWS, Development, and other technical teams to create and deliver comprehensive load test reports.
• Stay updated with relevant technologies and methodologies.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience through education, certifications, or training.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in crafting JMeter and VUGen performance test scripts and conducting test executions on AWS systems and Performance Center.
• 3+ years of proficiency with Micro Focus Performance test tools, including VuGen, LoadRunner Suite, and Performance Center. Familiarity with JMeter, cloud-based platforms, and automation testing is advantageous, particularly in DLTA (Distributed Load Testing on AWS) and JMeter.

Skills and Abilities:

• Thorough understanding of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures involved in load testing UI Applications.
• Skilled in script recording and correlation using JMeter and VUGen.
• Preferred, but not mandatory: Familiarity with Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) and cloud-based platforms for load testing, such as DLTA (Distributed Load Testing on AWS) and JMeter.
