RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Payroll Associate in Boston, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:The client is an asset management company and this an opportunity to work for a great company with extremely smart and talented employees. This role will work in a hybrid schedule, 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote.Responsibilities:- Process payrolls
- Payroll Associate will prepare manual off-cycle payments
- Enter general ledgers and reconcile journal entries
- Manage miscellaneous payroll items, including fringe benefits and deductions
- Maintain 401k elections
- Reconcile bank statements
- Respond to payroll related questions and issues
- As a Payroll Associate, you will assist with payroll and corporate audits
- Perform ad hoc tasks as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3-5 years of payroll experience
- Experience with Workday
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Exposure to ADP is strongly preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
