The Change Management Lead for NextGen ERP (our SAP S/4 Hana ERP Transformation Program), will lead the efforts to foster successful adoption and engagement across the organization as we streamline and optimize business processes to align with the new system. The lead will be responsible for developing and executing change management strategies and plans focused on maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our business operations.

In this highly visible, and hand-on role, the leader will work closely with a team of direct reports and 3rd party OCM worksteam leads; will report to the Global NextGen ERP Business Transformation Lead and will be a key member of the PMO team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive change management strategy tailored to optimizing business processes and driving efficiency through the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana ERP, in alignment with the global NextGen ERP Change Management Lead's vision.
  • Lead a team to operationalize the change management strategy, focusing on Executive Alignment, Stakeholder Management, Change Agent/Business Readiness Network, Communications, Change Impact Analysis, User Role Mapping, Go-Live Readiness, Persona-based and other Training, and Value Realization.
  • Collaborate with System Integration Partners, consultants, and other leaders within Zoetis to ensure alignment and integration of change management activities with technical implementation milestones.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder engagement across functions and levels of the organization, including senior leaders, through effective communication and relationship-building efforts.
  • Define and build the governance mechanism to actively track transformation and change plans, including schedules, resources, interdependencies, and anticipated benefits.
  • Manage the assessment, measurement, and evaluation of the ongoing impact of changes, adjusting strategies as needed to drive sustainable change and maximize business value.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to assess preliminary impacts and requirements from a change and transformation perspective, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain oversight of transformation risks and mitigation plans to ensure business and project objectives are met.

Qualifications
  • Internal candidate preferred or existing familiarity with Zoetis processes and culture
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of working experience leading global organizational change management, preferably in complex technology implementations such as ERP roll-outs and upgrades. Experience across multiple countries and functions is preferred. This program will require a multi-functional perspective requiring the background or knowledge to adapt strategy and approach across these domains will be important.
  • Experience in management consulting, M&A, integration, supply chain, strategy, process improvement, finance, and/or operational excellence is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Change Management principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust in a variety of relationships through candor, reliability, and authenticity.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and leverage influential networks, with strong leadership and influence skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Independent thinker and strong self-starter who takes initiative and is comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Financial and business acumen, with the ability to navigate sensitive dynamics through judgment, discretion, diplomacy, and political acuity.
  • Experience providing work direction, coaching, and guidance to project teams and program leadership, with prior direct management experience being a plus
