  • Knowledge of and experience with chemical cleaning system set-up, design, and operations is heavily favored.
  • Knowledge and experienced with chemical cleaning and/or chemical decon processes and equipment
  • Expert knowledge of commonly used chemical cleaning application process equipment, practices, procedures and concepts
  • Nuclear reactor plant maintenance qualification training and certification,
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects with technical requirements, budgets and schedules
Your Opportunity

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an NDE Technician in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:
  • Working closely with process chemists and control engineers to ensure the application process is set up to perform as designed to achieve maximum results and efficiently run the process.
  • Designing plant and equipment configuration so they can be readily adapted to suit the plant components and configurations taking environmental and economic aspects into account.
  • Scale-up/-down processes including appropriate changes to equipment design and configuration
  • Required to write procurement authorizations, follow procedures to operate components/systems.
  • Assessing options for process improvements, expansions, or reconfiguration from operational experience.
  • Ensures compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards.
  • Performs other related duties and tasks, as required.
  • Under general supervision, your responsibilities will be to perform/lead system deployment and testing of a chemical application system comprised of equipment components, i.e., pumps, resin, filters, reverse osmosis, heaters, venting, etc., contained in sealands along with large volume process tanks and Frac tanks based on a layout design and P&ID drawing along with the application of established chemical cleaning techniques and procedures.
  • Provides technical support and improvement recommendations related to planning, designing, constructing and maintaining structures, systems and components.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $42.00 - $54.33 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
