Overview

This role is primarily responsible for creating and implementing a national option assortment and standardized design studio experience/s companywide. The Design Center Manager will partner with National Contracts to negotiate with and select the best national partners to supply products via Design Studios.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads creation and implementation of a design studio experience that heralds Customer Experience as driving initiative
  • Partners with divisions and utilizes internal resources to develop strategy for options and design studios
  • Utilizes data to create standardized design studio experience/s and provides guidance to divisions on what experience to utilize by division/community
  • Creates and implements roll out plan by division and community to utilize standardized design studio experience and product assortment
  • Leads all design studio transitions and product assortment updates with individual divisions
  • Provides ongoing training to divisions on design studio updates and product assortment updates and transitions
  • Creates a national product assortment for all design studio related products, utilizing Beazer's National Contract partners
  • Creates strategy for grouping or packaging of products to improve customer experience, cycle time and margin rate
  • Partners with National Contracts to negotiate with and select National Contract partners for design studio related categories
  • Tracks cycle time and margin changes after implementation of design studio experience and product assortment
Education & Experience

  • 10+ years experience preferred
  • Experience in Homebuilder Design Studio Operations
Skills & Abilities

  • Clear and persuasive communication skills, both oral and written
  • Detail-oriented with a strong acumen for critical, logical thinking and problem-solving
  • Excellent follow-up, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills
  • Equally capable and adept at working independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to lead without direct authority
Physical Requirements

  • Typical office environment
  • Travel: 50% or greater
