SHIFT: 4am to 4pm Mon to Thu

PAY: $15.00 per hour

SUMMARY

Using a hand track, obtain boxes of finished goods material from the warehouse and transport them to the assembly area. Drill holes using the drill press, cutback to the required length using circular saw, glue parts using PVC cement. Breakdowns. Repack finished goods. Maintain work area clean and organized.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, operate and tend machines to saw and cut vinyl material.
• Operate cutting tools including circular saw and cut according to specifications
• Assemble products and repack correctly, ensuring correct stocking method.
• Ensure proper and safe use of cap machine, circular saw and tools for accessories.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• The military equivalent will be recognized in lieu of education and/or experience.

• Lifting-40%-Frequently long boxes (8ft-10ft) 40 to 50 pounds each

• Twisting-Occasionally 20% closing boxes; 10% at waist

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Basic mathematical skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication and converting fractions into decimals.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Understanding of basic measuring techniques: camber, bow, squareness.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Manufacturing facility with limited climate control.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes.
• Personal Protective Equipment required at all times-hard hat, work gloves, hearing protection and steel toed shoes/boots.
• Controlled Noise environment.
