POSITION PURPOSE:
Represent Manufacturing Services on team projects as the subject matter expert in the maintenance and development of all manufacturing databases used to flow product through the materials process.





IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.



Experience
* Minimum of 1-2 years in an inventory/materials analyst or clerk role
* Basic level or hands-on experience and understanding of MRP systems and inventory management within a manufacturing environment
* Basic knowledge in OBS/Product system a plus
* Experience with ERP systems a plus (Oracle preferred)
* Experience with materials or product flows within manufacturing environment desired



Skills
* Excellent personal computer skills in a network environment
* Highly developed Microsoft skills with a focus on Access and Excel
* Highly-detail oriented and must be able to work independently
* Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
* Strong planning, time management, and prioritization skills
* Must operate efficiently and effective within a team environment with the ability to flex and adapt as needed



Education
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field; extensive work experience may be considered in lieu of education






ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Become proficient in maintaining and updating:
* Item information by location for all manufacturing locations
* Bill of Material Structure (MRP) needs
* Item Base Display database
* Finished Goods and Options processes
* Support plants by answering questions and solving issues elevated to the corporate team
* Support co-workers on all other Bill of Material applications
* Develop ideas for improving processes in the Bill of Material databases
* Test new maintenance applications and provide feedback
* Active Team Member on product execution teams to flawlessly introduce products and communicate information
* Support efforts by the American Woodmark team members to strive for continuous improvement
* Provide a safe and productive work environment for all team members
* Perform other tasks as directed by the Manufacturing Services Manager
* Supervisory Responsibilities:
o This position has no supervisory responsibilites





SCOPE & EXPECATIONS:
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear; and occasionally required to sit
* The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
* Typical office environment and use all required PPE
* Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
* Reports to: Materials Services Supervisor (Team Lead)
* Occasional weekend work may be required
* Travel Requirements:
o Less than 10% travel can be expected
* Recruitment process may consist of any combination of phone, video and in person interviews.
* Offers may be contingent upon successful completion of Background Check, Drug Screen, Physical Examination and/or potential Motor Vehicle Check.
