Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical). Assisting the Manager, the Supervisor oversees mechanical maintenance operations, ensuring strict safety adherence.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate mechanical performance and plan preventative repairs.
- Schedule and guide union millwrights with work plans.
- Assist in planning large projects and contribute to preventative maintenance scheduling.
- Supervise and train the Union workforce.
- Develop solutions to equipment-related problems and oversee maintenance operations.
- Administer and adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Four-year Mechanical Degree.
- Minimum of five years' experience in mechanical supervision in a Steel Mill environment.
- Proficient in managing hourly Union workforce.
- Strong commitment to safety and standardization.
- Results-oriented with excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
