The Loan Processing Specialist II responsible for the booking and renewal processes of all loan packages (international and domestic), recording them into the CORE system. Ensure that all terms and codes are correctly entered in order to officially record the loans in the Bank’s books ensuring compliance with internal policies and government regulations and protecting at all times the Bank’s financial interest and customer’s right under existing laws. (Process work for AB, CB Real Estate Investment (REIT)). Responsible for the maintenance of the Non-Accrual Bank.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the booking and inventory of all loan packages (according to departmental procedures).
• Responsible for the registration of all loans (new and renewed) into the Banks’ Core systems (multi-state and multi-countries) ensuring at all times integrity of the data: terms, loan product, codes. Input all the necessary information in the Bank’s main frame system and/or workflow ensuring that the loans booked/renewed in the system contain all required information in order to properly service and report them. Handle multiple entities (AB, REIT, Bk57 Non Accrual Bank)
• Process all loan disbursements properly according to funding instructions (for loans continue to be disbursed in a centralized manner) and balanced daily disbursements being handled in a decentralized manner. Ensure that loan disbursement instructions are balanced and are processed accurately.
• Responsible for the processing of loan payments and loan advances for special lines of credits, in an accurate and timely fashion ensuring proper loan accounting.
• Responsible for the processing of all Special Assets loans transactions: risk code adjustments, loan restructures, non-accrual, charge-offs, REPOs, OREOs
• Responsible for registering and maintaining the loan portfolio in the Non-Accrual Bank
• Other loan processing duties: Balance workstation daily, process loan maintenance, process late fee transaction , process loan adjustments, process rate changes, maintaining logs
• Administrative tasks include: handle telephone calls from the officers regarding loan information, make copies and/or image/scan documents.
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
• Provide service to customers and banking officers as required in order to solve problems on a timely basis, within federal banking guidelines; process loan researches in a timely manner.
• Maintain and provide accurate Key Performance Indicators data pertaining to the position
• Maintain accurate records (loan portfolio) for all Banks: AB, REIT, Non-Accrual Bank.
• Responsible for performing user acceptance testing of the ICC system
• Assist Department staff when needed.
• Complete audits as required.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required
• Cross train in other functions as required.
• Work on special projects.
• Fill in for other functions within the department during absences.
• Stay abreast of changes to federal regulations that might directly affect the loan servicing area.

Minimum Education and/or Certifications Requirements:

High school diploma required. Vocational training in legal documentation and loan accounting or comparable experience in lieu of education. Associates degree in Business preferred.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

5+ years of experience in loan processing, banking operations legal loan documentation and loan accounting experience required. Knowledge of banking regulations relating to domestic (multi-state) and international loans required. Wire transfer experience preferred.

Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge:

Previous knowledge with Fiserv AS400

Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 products including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint
