Licensing & Compliance SupervisorPrincipal Purpose of Position:

  • Supervise the activities, workload, and attendance of assigned employees to ensure delivery of departmental results
  • Evaluate opportunities in existing processes and proactively identify new processes, to assure quality delivery and departmental efficiency
  • Respond to escalating internal and external customer issues, determine root cause, explore and implement mistake-proofing measures
  • Support the growth and development of assigned employees, and conduct performance reviews
  • Support customer or prospect meetings, as serve as direct client liaison as needed
  • Proactively interact with business partners to develop and enhance systems
  • Develop custom departmental reports and presentations
  • Develop and monitor key departmental metrics to ensure standards are achieved
  • Participate in recruiting and hiring of new staff members
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Education and/or Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree or related leadership experience
Relevant Work Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of business experience
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
  • Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge:
  • Must have a strong foundation in managerial concepts and financial awareness
  • Must be able to execute on initiatives, while maintaining routine departmental functions
  • Must demonstrate a strong understanding of the importance related to policy and procedure
  • Strong organization and analytic skills
Communicating & Influencing Skills:
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization, including senior management
  • Ability to positively impact employee behavior and coach employees to success
  • Ability to reason with others and influence their point of view
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
