Job Description

Summary

In Lead role, acts as champion of quality and continuous improvement, creating delivery standardization and best practices for technology focus area. Provides comprehensive professional services delivery as related to infrastructure consulting, design, implementation, configuration and knowledge transfer to Logicalis clients. Acts as technical lead and provides subject matter expertise and implementation guidance to clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acts as Champion of Quality and Continuous Improvement.
    • Runs Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives related to technology focus area.
    • Mentors peers on quality and continuous improvement - Logicalis Delivery Excellence.
    • Creates process driven templates for standardized deliverables across technology focus area.
    • Tests and validates plans, Low Level Design (LLD's), as-built documentation, and WBS.
  • Provides assessment on current team skills and recommendation on additional skill needs.
  • Performs implementations of overall solutions for clients, including development of solution designs, implementation plans and documentation.
  • Develops Logicalis standards for scoping, documentation, and implementations.
  • Provides, as subject matter expert, guidance, assistance and recommendations to determine new technical services and solutions for client's business.
  • Leads project teams to deliver successful implementations.
  • Performs expert integration and customized consulting services.
  • Satisfies client technology services and solution requirements using best practices to:

  • Provide Knowledge Transfer
  • Troubleshoot
  • Support
  • Works directly with client to gather requirements, design solutions, build proof of concepts and implementations solutions.
  • Delivers consultative-based knowledge transfer and documentation to Logicalis' clients.
  • Works with Resource Management Office (RMO) and Project Management Office (PMO) in scheduling and managing engagements.
  • Works with Logicalis' clients to perform assessments, health checks, performance tests, and capacity planning.
  • Responsible for product evaluation, process improvement, and practice refinement activities.
  • Establishes relationships with clients by demonstrating strong listening skills.
  • Builds credibility and trust by delivering what has been promised within established timeframes.
  • Maintains focus on client satisfaction and expectation management.
  • Mentors and trains team members on working in collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.
  • Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.

Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Experience / Technical Requirements
  • 10 years of technical experience, including design, implementation, and support of wired and wireless network solutions, in the following:
  • Cisco Wireless Controllers and Access Points
  • Meraki Wireless
  • Cisco DNA Center
  • Cisco ISE
  • Cisco SD-Access
  • Cisco SD-WAN
  • Meraki SD-WAN
  • Cisco Catalyst and Nexus product lines
  • Aruba Switching
  • Layer 2 technologies including Rapid Spanning Tree, Multiple Spanning Tree, VXLAN
  • Layer 3 technologies including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
  • Cisco NFGW and FMC
  • Meraki Firewalls
  • Cisco Secure Endpoint, Secure Network Analytics, Umbrella
  • Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama
  • Secure Remote User VPNs (AnyConnect, GlobalProtect, Forticlient)
  • Thorough knowledge of VLAN's, Spanning tree, VPC's, VDC's, OTV and FCoE.
  • Thorough knowledge of IPV4 and IPV6.
  • Consulting background focused on Networking solutions.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications.

May consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications

Must possess at least one of the following:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional - Wireless (CCNP Wireless)
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert - Route/Switch (CCIE R/S)
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert - Wireless (CCIE Wireless)
