Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all aspects of our maintenance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment, and implementing preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and train a team of maintenance technicians, delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and providing performance feedback.
• Develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for all facilities and equipment, ensuring adherence to manufacturer's specifications and safety regulations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems, and coordinate repairs to minimize disruption to operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including inventory control, requisitioning supplies and parts, and overseeing expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures, and maintain a safe work environment for the maintenance staff.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance records and reports.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest maintenance technologies and equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of facilities.
• May perform some skilled maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (or relevant trade to the industry).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
