Journeyman Electrician

As a Journeyman Electrician within our Services Group, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within the commercial and industrial electrical construction industry. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and promptly addressing electrical issues.

Essential Functions

• Possess knowledge to complete task assignments in all aspects of trade related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, hand sketch and blueprint interpretations, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Ensure safe working conditions through regular site inspections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.
• Proficiency in all aspects of electrical project duties and tasks, including conduit bending, wire pulling, threading, wire terminations, and troubleshooting.
• Operate any and all hands tools, power tools, and equipment necessary to preform all trade assignments.
• Assure proper use of company equipment and materials.
• Prepare daily and weekly field reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with state and local electrical codes and safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of five 5 years experience through on-the-job training or successful completion of an electrical apprentice program.
• Commercial and Industrial Experience is a plus
• Current and valid state of residence driver's license.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute project scope/specs from blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in all aspects of electrical project duties and tasks, including conduit bending, wire pulling, threading, wire terminations, and troubleshooting.

Travel:

• Occasional overnight travel with weekend trips home

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry minimum of 75 pounds
• Must be able to bend, squat, crawl and balance
