RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, one of the world's largest financial institutions is seeking a Jira ALM Wire Payments Business Analyst in Philadelphia, PA and Charlotte, NC. This an 18-month contract with an opportunity to become a fulltime employee.Summary:This team supports Wire Payments along with other applications. The team is looking for a Business Execution Consultant that is able support the creation of Jira stories, writing functional and technical requirements. This person will need to have a full understanding of Wire Payments, Payment Creation, Flow of a Payment, SWIFT Payments and more. You must be able to work independently and with a team.Duties Include:

• Jira ALM Wire Payments Business Analyst will participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
• Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
• Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
• Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
• Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
• As a Jira ALM Wire Payments Business Analyst, you will present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
• Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
• Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
• Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• 2+ years of Business Operations or Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
• 2+ years of Wire Payments experience; Understand the flow of a wire payment? That is what is required to understand

Functional Industry Titles:

• Business Analyst
• Product Owner
• Data/Tester would provide the experience necessary if it was applied tow Wire Payments
• Fundamental skillset and understanding of wire payments is required

Required Technology Skills:

• Confluence/Jira
• Not executing testing, they are just writing it, so it is not a highly technical role
• If they have the ability to create a payment and process it that would be a plus but not required

Preferred Industry/Company Experience:

• Financial Services is a very likely background

Environment:

• Scrum Team that this person would be writing requirements for is large
• The immediate team is a team of 5, but they will be engaging with various teams totaling 50 or so people
• Able to articulate written work to a larger team
