Summary:

This position is responsible for the set-up, tear down, and operation of the J-con equipment including the cooker, chiller, and liquid smoke application. This position must ensure that compliance of the company specifications and regulatory standard. This role will perform corrective actions arising from quality or food safety deviations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify problems and initiate corrective action arising from quality and food safety deviations. Identify and support process improvements. Perform assigned preventative maintenance on equipment. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Ability to gather and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions. Must meet commitments that demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Able to read and interpret written information. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF. Ability to use chemicals for cleaning and complete sanitation processes. Ability to use computer programs for inventory purposes filing of documents and gathering process information. Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor. Perform general housekeeping duties in the department. Must perform all positions of rotation if applicable. Must perform all positions of rotation if applicable. Shift schedule/hours may change with implementation of extended runs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience: forklift certification or the ability to obtain forklift certification is required.
  • Travel: N/A
  • Supervisory: N/A
  • Sponsorship is not available for this role. Must reside within the United States.
  • This role is 100% onsite.

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to read comprehend and write English. Ability to perform basic math functions. Must be able to work overtime and or weekends as needed. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid hand and eye coordination to move product on a conveyor and or other processing equipment. Ability to strenuous flex grip with wrist hands frequently. Must be able to push pull lift with arms up to 50lbs occasionally. Must be able below waist at shoulder above shoulder level 20 pounds frequently. Must be able to lift, lower, carry up to 20 pounds or greater with back and legs. Must be able to constantly stand, stoop, walk, bend up to 12 hrs. Occasional climbing of stairs several times per hour is required. Ability to work in wet and cold temperatures at 35 degrees is required. Able to complete all paperwork and SAP functions as required for position.
