Inventory Control Process Analyst is responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing activities that effect inventory accuracy and control. Work with a broad range of functional areas to identify root causes of inventory accuracy issues, analyze alternatives, and develop and implement sustainable solutions. Develop, monitor, and report Inventory Control metrics. Driver Operational Excellence with various activities as assigned, including audit compliance, providing direction relative to problem resolution, procedure development, and monitoring departmental performance against established operating procedures, goals, and objectives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data to identify performance trends.
  • Assist Operations Management with root cause analysis and error resolution.
  • Monitor, analyze and report performance relative to inventory accuracy and control.
  • Work closely with Operations Management to document issues and improve processes.
  • Work with Operations Management to improve relationships and jointly address operational issues that cause inventory accuracy issues.
  • Participate in and/or lead cross-functional projects as assigned.
  • Participate in development and implementation of inventory control policies and procedures. Guide and train personnel regarding the same.
  • Responsible for inventory counting, reconciliation, and reporting metrics
  • Drive improvements by optimizing inventory presentation for improved flow
  • Provide analysis, modeling, insights for the optimization or reduction of inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field or equivalent 3 years of relevant warehouse Inventory Control experience in lieu of degree
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to manage data from multiple sources
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office applications; ERP system (SAP preferred)
  • Ability to effectively present information and analysis to different audiences (management, hourly personnel . . .)
